Shelly Bay, Hamilton Parish
16 Solar Panels + 1 Franklin Battery · Over $200,000 lifetime savings
Project Overview
With summer Belco bills climbing past $1,000 a month, this homeowner wanted to get ahead of rising costs for good. Her property, part of a Condo Association, had already secured approval for solar — and with an IT background, she was looking for the most user-friendly technology available.
The Challenge
- Condo Association aesthetic requirements for any property modification
- Non-standard site voltage (120/208V vs. the typical 120/240V)
- A centralised Condo electrical room, requiring solar and battery tie-in at the distribution panel level
The Solution
- 16 Silfab 440W solar panels installed
- 1 FranklinWH battery, delivering 15 kWh of storage capacity and 10 kW of continuous output
- Selected a bespoke battery solution for seamless, sleek compatibility with 208V site voltage grid connection handled end-to-end
- Partnered with multiple stakeholders to trace underground Belco lines, minimising disruption and optimising equipment access
